Press Releases:

February 2012

Vita Technologies was invited to attend the 4th Annual International Conference on Computational and Systems Biology (ICCSB2012), held in Shanghai October 14th through 16th, 2012. The congress is jointly sponsored by IEEE EMBS (Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society http://iccsb.sjtu.edu.cn/), IASIA (International Association of Scientists in the Interdisciplinary Areas) and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University.  IEEE is the largest professional organization for the advancement of technology.

Dongqing Wei, past 2009 and 2010 Chairman of the International Conference on Computational and System Biology and IEEE (http://www.ieee.org/index.html ) member, as well as a past Member of the program committee for the 2010 IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedicine, personally invited us to the ICCBS 2012.

This ICCBS invitation to Vita spawned from the preliminary molecular amplification report of a study showing that Vita’s patented ultra-hydrating delivery system technology increased the biological activity 20,000 times with a guava extract (see “Technology – Intellectual Property” section). The components delivered in that study are used to mitigate intestinal cramping. The full report is scheduled to be published August 2012.

This congress will have in attendance many Nobel Laureates, world leading scientists and industry opinion leaders as well as Vita supporters from the Gates Foundations. This is a formal embracing of Vita’s technology by the world’s scientific community. Obviously this further increases our valuation and international audience.
